Before starting his association management company, Steve served as deputy CEO for a $46 million not-for-profit organization with membership, research and promotion operations in 12 countries, 30 states and Washington, DC. Recognized as an innovative leader, Steve — who grew up on the Noba bull stud farm — holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University. He began his career as a reporter for The Associated Press. His public relations career in higher education and associations spans 30 years. The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) awarded him three Silver Anvils, the highest award in the public relations profession.
