2012 Conference

Leaders in the dairy calf and replacement heifer industry met in Visalia, Calif., for another outstanding Dairy Calf & Heifer Conference.

The conference offered the latest in production information and techniques, provided great hands-on business management training and included wet lab demonstrations to educate producers on how they can do to increase productivity in their operations.

"It was the premier event in the dairy calf and heifer replacement industry that brought together in one place an elite group of speakers and experts who presented material that producers can use on their operations to be more efficient and profitable,” said John Bernard, DCHA senior advisor and chairman of the 2012 Conference Committee.

The DCHA Conference featured the highly instructive wet lab demonstrations. According to a conference goer at this year's meeting, "The wet lab breakout sessions were excellent!” Licensed veterinarians literally provided hands-on learning opportunities for producers at the calf anatomy wet lab while discussing the value of digital necropsies.

The 2012 conference focused on educational sessions featuring the latest industry information on feed center design, legal guest workers, Gold Standards II, stockmanship and much more. There was also time to network with industry leaders, fellow professionals and old and new friends.

The trade show offered conference attendees a chance to learn about dairy's hottest new trends and talk with company representatives about what would work best in their operations.

The DCHA Conference Committee is already making plans for next year's conference in Lancaster, Pa., April 4-5, 2013.

We'll see you there!

Thank you to our 2012 sponsors!
